On Way to Capetown, South Africa!

Jackie and Adam had arranged this travel for more than one year even tough before Evie was born.  Intel gave Adam two months off for the bonding time with Evie.  This is a part of parent benefits offered from Intel.  Thanks for that.  Yes Adam has paid off for his hard work at Intel!

Our neighbor, a great friend of us, (in top and right picture) dropped us off at the international PHX airport.

Jackie made cool t-shirts with logo of Africa country with a little heart at the bottom and left of the Africa map.  That is where Capetown is.

A very first self picture of the Munder family above.  We were somewhere in air between Phoenix and Chicago for the flight overlay.  It was a tough travel for us because Evie was so energetic!  Adam and I kept her busy all the time.

Camping out by myself with two dogs at the Supersitition Mountain

I planned to camp out for two nights at the Supersitition mountain on the weekend of March 11th by myself.   However it was too mucy for me.  The plan was changed since I wanted to go to my friend’s 2nd birthday party on Saturday morning.   I did only for one night.  It was such a fun for me hiking out with two dogs.  One dog is mine and another couple’s dog I babysitted.  It was really nice and relaxed by myself at the same time I really miss my wife and new daughter.  Two weeks without them was really hard on me.  I asked my wife not to do that again.  I totally understand many families and friends want to visit new baby Evie.

Before going out for camping, I went Kalviz’s 2nd birthday party, a son of my friend.  It was a fun birthday party!  I really enjoyed and I oversaw kids’ joyous birthday party!   I also love great brat.  It’s Canadian grilling style.  Some people said that’s deaf hot dogs because of little over cooked hot dogs.  I dont mind and i love burnt tasting crispy.

Before I leave from the Supersitition mountain, I happened to be seeing my neighbor and a co-worker I work with at Intel when I got up in the early morning.  I saw them climbing all the way upon one of supersitition mountains!  It wa really amazing to see them.

Riding Mountain bikes at the South Mountain!

Friends and I biked at the South Mountain nearby my house.  It was a great Sunday morning!   We biked almost 12 miles.  During at that day, the weather was such a perfect day for us!   Randall, Mikey, Erwin and I met up for biking together.   Mikey had to borrow my wife’s bike, which had some issues with chaining.  We had to figure out how to adjust the chain.  The chain itself is a bit long and it needs more tightened.    Mikey adjusted and kept carrying himself throughout the trip. It turned out to be fine, but it was hard on him to bike all the way up.

Lochiel Brewery!

Ian Camerson started up his own brewery distributor. He is a Deaf guy   His father worked at Intel and in the same department where I am in and he worked at night shift.  Before I visited his new opening place.  I tried all of his brewery beers in his home garage.  One of his brewed beers is my favorite now – Lochiel Scotch Ale.  At first I was worried if his brewed beer wouldn’t taste good.  I was surprised after a great taste.  That brew is made with a Scottish style and strong malt straightness.  I learned that he got a family recipe passed down through many generations in his family line.  I was fascinated in his tale and family history happened in Scotland and UK.  It was awesome!

One Month Old Evie!

Fields family left back to NC in the morning from our house.   They stayed with us for one full month and did really help us lot.

Love candid photo.

Third generation photo

It was really hard on us when they left. We are very blessed to have a such wonderful family who loves us very much.  (Both sides- Munder and Fields family ❤️)

Evie’s first hike

We relaxed at home most of day and then we hiked about 2 miles upon South Mountain with Vanilla and Evie. It was such a beautiful day!  Well it was a bit gloomy like a cloudy cold day in midwestern world.  It was more excited for us than anyone who lived in Arizona.

One month old photos of Evie

It’s very hard to believe she’s already 1 month old!  Meeting Evie for first time was best feeling in the whole world. It was an unforgettable moment for me and daddy.

Dear Evie,

You brings us a such great joy!

I could not forget my first moment when I held you in my arm!! I was over the moon when I saw you. – your mom ❤️

Now you are beautiful 1 month old! You are so tall for your age. Your height is 95% above the average with all of other babies in the whole wide world!  How cool is it!? 🙂 Just like your daddy!  He’s 6’3. You both are so much alike!

You are really strong too. You like to push your legs against me and try to stand up while we held you under your armpits. Your neck is developing really quick. You are able to keep your head up on your own for brief time. We believe you will be so strong like your mommy! 🙂

We are looking forward to see more of your laughs and smiles coming this month!  Love you tons! ❤️💕.

With love,

Your mommy and Daddy.

Nothing bundt cake

We got red velvet cake for Evelyn to celebrate her 1 month old.  It’s our excuse to eat this delicious cake! Haha

Evie attempted to blow candle on her one month birthday with Mommy’s help!!!

We love you Evelyn ❤️.
